Math for Grade 1

Description

This is a comprehensive Math course, based on the proven, fun and muliti-sensory method. We teach math concepts through fun methods & activities. 

There are 9 areas which we focus upon:-

1. Numbers 1 to 100, making 5s and 10s, number comparisons, concept of before & after
2. Forming number pairs 6 to 10 for improving calculations & place values concept of numbers up to 50
3. Revision and clarification of addition, adding within 10 along with mental math games
4. Introduction to concept of subtraction, practicing subtraction within the range of 10
5. Introducing and building on positions
6. Numbers 0 to 100, place values and their comparisons
7. Concept of length, weight, & capacity; Adding numbers within the range of 20
8. Concept of money; Addition & subtraction within the range of 20
9. Concept of time and patterns along with revision
