Description
This is a comprehensive program, based on the proven, fun and multi-sensory synthetic phonics method that gets children reading and writing from an early age. We teach letter sounds as opposed to the alphabet.
There are 3 skills which we focus upon:-
- Learning the letter sounds- Children are taught 6 letter sounds. Using a multi-sensory approach each letter sound is introduced with fun actions, stories, songs and craft activities.
- Learning letter formation- Children will learn how to form and write the letters letter down during the course of the lesson
- Identifying sounds for writing- Children will identify the sounds in a word to be able to write that word
